This little stitched square for Audrey seemed like the perfect "waiting for baby" project: I had all the materials on hand, it would be something handmade to hang on Audrey's wall, and would keep my hands busy when all I had to do was sit and wait.
Baby Colton is now 12 (!) weeks old and there never seems to be any sitting and waiting....so I believe it is time to move on... to lay this down for a while. Change is in the air and it doesn’t feel right to be stitching so summery. We are putting on hat and sweaters and scarves...and I want to be knitting hats and sweaters and scarves. So farewell, sweet square, we will meet again.
