Downtown

Last weekend, during winter's brief hiatus, my brother and his girlfriend stopped to visit us on their way across country.  We played tourist with them and spent the day downtown.     

 

The day started windy and cold but as we wondered between the skyscrapers, the sun peaked through the clouds.

 It hadn't been in the plans, but we took advantage of the sunshine and the very well behaved babies to take a spin around the ice rink. 

 

It was a gift of a day...a jem in January, to be out side, spending time with my brother, in this great city, with my babes.
